  • How long does the cremation process take?

    From the time your loved one enters our care the process typically takes anywhere from 7-10 business days.

  • Why are people moving away from traditional funerals and choosing cremation instead?

    Nowadays, many prefer cremation over traditional funerals because the process is simpler and considerably more cost-efficient. It also allows loved ones to choose between more options when selecting cremation.

     

  • Can I provide my own urn?

    Yes. While we do have a large selection in-house, you are more than welcome to provide your own urn and/or memorial items. We encourage families to bring anything in with them at the time of making arrangements so that we can facilitate filling them ourselves. There is no additional charge for us to do this.

     

  • Can I scatter my loved one’s ashes?

    Yes. While every state allows this, most state and national parks do require specific permits and/or documentation to do so. We highly recommend calling these places to find out what they require specifically. The United States Government does allow spreading ashes at sea — their only requirement is that you do so no closer than three miles from land.

     

  • How do I know that a cremation company is principled and creditable?

    Take your time educating yourself on the topic and do not be afraid to ask questions. So much about the funeral industry is unknown to those who are not in it professionally. This is why so many companies get away with charging astronomical prices and hidden fees. It will benefit you and your loved ones tremendously to try and do your own research on the subject as well as calling multiple places to discuss their process and pricing. Transparency is key.
