From the time Mitch and DeLee met, she became a part of our lives. She was one of the toughest and strongest persons I have ever known. Despite all the ups and downs and hard times she kept her head and faith held high. She loved her family and Mitch with all her heart. Dee will be dearly missed , she was a good friend and I always looked forward to her uplifting texts, and chats we would have, but comfort can be found knowing she is no longer in pain and will forever be looking after us from above. Till we meet again so long for now, you will always be in our hearts and thoughts.

~God’s Garden~
God looked around his garden
And He found an empty place.
And then He looked down upon the earth,
And saw your tired face.

He put His arms around you,
And lifted you to rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful,
He always takes the best.

He knew that you were suffering,
He knew that you were in pain,
He knew you would never
Get well on earth again.

He saw the road was getting rough,
And the hills were getting hard to climb,
So He closed your weary eyelids,
And whispered “Peace be thine.”

It broke our hearts to lose you.
But you didn’t go alone,
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.

We loved this kind, caring, thoughtful And sweet lady . We met in 1965 and my daughters called her Aunt DeLee all their lives. She was very loving and adored all her pets from cats to dogs to her horse Jericho , but more than anything else she loved Jesus and her precious earthly family. She was a beloved friend and I always admired her and her eagerness to learn a new art! I will miss having her on the other end of the phone line, calling me “ Sissy” and being sure of her deep love for people lucky enough to be in her life.
